I’m Mariana, a bilingual singer-songwriter and somatic wellness coach, walking the lifelong path of making art and meaning. The first half of my life journey has been in sun-soaked landscapes of New Mexico, Mexico and Texas, and now finds me rooted in Asheville, NC, making music as Runaway Horse and exploring ceramics and textiles as new forms of expression.

Alongside my artistic work, I guide creatives and leaders through the tender spaces of stuckness, self-doubt, and burnout. Using somatic and mindfulness-based tools, I help people listen to their bodies, rewire old patterns, and create from a place of grounded confidence.

I also bring a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic wellbeing, which deepens my understanding of the body-mind connection and informs my approach to healing and creative growth.

I know firsthand the fears and joys of sharing your calling with the world. And I’m here to walk beside you as you navigate your creative unfolding.

My Credentials

I hold a B.A. (creativity and spirituality studies) from Goddard College. I have my Master’s in Science, and I’m a licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner with a focus on Herbal Medicine and Qi Gong, further demonstrating my dedication to holistic well-being. I am certified in Polyvagal Theory training for the Arts and am currently completing my Health and Wellness National Coaching Certification, as well as the Inward & Outward Creative Facilitator Training.
